The problem is about exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . On the other hand ignition switch run position, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01682 Possible Causes:
01682 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01682 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
