When you open throttle control: airflow at idle too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, system too lean at idle also catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low will delay your vw fault. |
01678 Possible Causes:
01678 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01678 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
