Diagnosing engine bar with injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure, erratic and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
01678 Possible Causes:
01678 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01678 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
