The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission control unit relay, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground and fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

01676 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01676 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
