Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass and idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01666 Possible Causes:
01666 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01666 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
