The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low you can see the load signal stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
01665 Possible Causes:
01665 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01665 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
