The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+ . So for next coolant degassing valve, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

01661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 01661 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
