The problem is about intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high and turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01658 Possible Causes:
01658 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01658 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
