This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit and wait then please check dtc memory of instrument cluster is the final reason of the code. |
01658 Possible Causes:
01658 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01658 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
