01657 Possible Causes:
01657 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01657 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump timing offset
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
