This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 14, low circuit or fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01656 Possible Causes:
01656 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01656 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
