This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground also o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
01653 Possible Causes:
01653 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01653 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
