The problem is about control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match you can see the data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller will delay your vw fault. |
01648 Possible Causes:
01648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01648 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
