Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low or change power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01642 Possible Causes:
01642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01642 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
