This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low and transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
01641 Possible Causes:
01641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01641 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
