When you open secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake activation starter relay 2, short to b+ or relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
01641 Possible Causes:
01641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01641 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
