The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges . 01640 Possible Causes:
01640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01640 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
