Staring in engine o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 . So for next secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01638 Possible Causes:
01638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01638 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction
