Staring in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing messages also exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01634 Possible Causes:
01634 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01634 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
