Diagnosing engine bar with tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ and wait then fuel pump, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01633 Possible Causes:
01633 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01633 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
