The problem is about pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller you can see the relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
01628 Possible Causes:
01628 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01628 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
