01625 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high also tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal will delay your vw fault.

01625 Possible Causes:

01625 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01625 Code

  • Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
