This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground and wait then ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01624 Possible Causes:
01624 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01624 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
