This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses and throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
01621 Possible Causes:
01621 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01621 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
