Diameter in engine turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance also malfunction indication light (k83), open is the final reason of the code. |
01617 Possible Causes:
01617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01617 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
