This code were stamped on VW Engine case cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely and diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01614 Possible Causes:
01614 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01614 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
