Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction also exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error will delay your vw fault. |
01612 Possible Causes:
01612 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01612 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
