The problem is about data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground . So for next air leak between maf and throttle body will delay your vw fault. |
01612 Possible Causes:
01612 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 01612 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
