Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction or change tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01608 Possible Causes:
01608 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01608 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
