Staring in engine direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground or throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01606 Possible Causes:
01606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01606 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
