01606 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
01606 Possible Causes:
01606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01606 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
