The problem is about control module defective to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of air condition ecu or change planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
01603 Possible Causes:
01603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01603 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
