The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit or turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
01600 Possible Causes:
01600 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01600 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
