01598 Possible Causes:
01598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01598 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
