This code were stamped on VW Engine case steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high . So for next clutch slip control, signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
01596 Possible Causes:
01596 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01596 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
