The problem is about intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain . On the other hand turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01589 Possible Causes:
01589 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01589 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
