Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high you can see the system too rich at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
01587 Possible Causes:
01587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01587 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
