Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance or change transmission control unit (j217), programming error is the final reason of the code. |
01585 Possible Causes:
01585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01585 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
