This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01585 Possible Causes:
01585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01585 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
