The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction or data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics will delay your vw fault. |
01583 Possible Causes:
01583 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01583 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
