01583 Description And Summary : |

When you open relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high or fuel pump "b" control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01583 Possible Causes:
01583 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01583 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
