Diameter in engine b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ or oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01579 Possible Causes:
01579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01579 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
