01579 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine nox sensor bank 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission control unit relay, short to b+ or change pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01579 Possible Causes:
01579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01579 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
