01559 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 12 above knock threshold you can see the relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01559 Possible Causes:
01559 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01559 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
