Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high or crankshaft position signal output, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01557 Possible Causes:
01557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01557 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
