This code were stamped on VW Engine case water in fuel sensor, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbo/super charger over-boost condition you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
01556 Possible Causes:
01556 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01556 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
