When you open intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground . So for next vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01555 Possible Causes:
01555 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 01555 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
