The problem is about pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift lock, short to b+ and wait then pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01554 Possible Causes:
01554 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01554 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
