This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit or change minimum throttle position, not learned will delay your vw fault. |
01551 Possible Causes:
01551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01551 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
