The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low or activation glow plug control module, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01531 Possible Causes:
01531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01531 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
