This something to do with the intake camshaft timing friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance or change please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics is the final reason of the code. |
01526 Possible Causes:
01526 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 01526 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
