When you open intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal or change vehicle speed sensor 'b' will delay your vw fault. |
01524 Possible Causes:
01524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01524 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
