The problem is about turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
01521 Possible Causes:
01521 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01521 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
