Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit . On the other hand engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01518 Possible Causes:
01518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01518 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
