When you open glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance or reversing light, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
01518 Possible Causes:
01518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01518 Code
- Inspect all the connections
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
