This something to do with the intake camshaft timing gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control unit error programming error or change throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
01516 Possible Causes:
01516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 01516 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
