When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 you can see the engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01513 Possible Causes:
01513 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01513 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
