When you open cylinder 10 above knock threshold it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
01512 Possible Causes:
01512 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01512 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
