01508 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ you can see the fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01508 Possible Causes:
01508 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 01508 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
